Critic Reviews of "The Batman (2004) - Season 1"
ColliderJuly 10, 2018This shift in style is a little jarring at first, but it's well worth the watch if only for the new versions of classic villains.
ScreenRantJuly 03, 2018While The Batman never achieved the critical success, or fan following, of its predecessor, it was a great show in its own right for attempting to do something fresh with many familiar characters.
What CultureJuly 02, 2018A different take, then, on the more established tenets of the character, but one that worked nonetheless.
Under the RadarJuly 02, 2018The episodes relied heavily on action scenes, and tried to dress up the look of the characters with an edgy redesign that wasn't exactly well executed. It's still watchable, however.
Den of GeekJune 29, 2018The show keeps keen old school bat-fans happy and also appeals to a whole new audience.
Common Sense MediaJune 29, 2018The Batman is a remarkably coherent, fun show, with lots of action, great moody sets, and exciting pacing.
