Terryl Daluz is a native of New Haven, CT. He moved to New York at the age of 19 years of age to pursue his acting career. In New York he became a member of the well known Negro Ensemble where he honed is craft as an actor performing in Off Broadway performances. He also was a member of the CityKids Repertory Company home of such actors as, Malik Yoba, Isaiah Washington, Donald Faison, and Dash Mihok. At CityKids he went on to perform about social issues that impacted the lives of young people in his community. Terryl was always involved with the uplifting of his community. He worked for Rheedlen Centers for Children and Families at the Countee Cullen Community Center in Harlem and was a member of The Order of the Feather a community based fraternity out of the Minisink Community Center. In 1997 Terryl partnered with the founder of CityKids, Laurie Meadoff and multi-platinum recording artist Michael Bolton to spearhead the opening of Safe Space of New Haven a new chapter of CityKids. There he was the Program Director/Artistic Director. He worked with inner city youth developing their leadership skills and their artistic skills with the mission to create change within their lives and their community.Terryl moved to Los Angeles in 2006 to focus on his writing and acting career. In 2007 Terryl along with writing partner Mann Alfonso wrote a play called, MASKS. MASKS is a story about two young men that grew up in the foster care/juvenile justice system, befriend each other, struggle to make it into manhood while battling with their past to shed their masks. In 2008 MASKS won an NAACP Theatre Award for Best Playwright - Local at a star studded event at the Kodak Theatre.While in LA Terryl continues to perform his award winning play, write and act in different television shows and film.
