Deceased American professional wrestler known for his work in the 1980s as the Cheetah Kid and from 1993 until his death in 2002 as Flyboy Rocco Rock of the Public Enemy with Johnny Grunge (Mike Durham). He had a brief boxing career before taking up professional wrestling, training under Wild Samoan Afa Anoai. Made his PPV debut as Col. DeKlerk of the South African team at "NWA Starrcade 90" in a loss to the Steiner Brothers (Rick Steiner and Scott Steiner) in the Pat O'Connor Memorial Tag Team Tournament. Teamed with Dean Malenko as the masked Komodo Dragons for one show in 1993. The Public Enemy debuted at "ECW Ultra Clash 93" with a win over Jason Knight and Ian Rotten (John Williams). The Public Enemy defeated Kevin Sullivan and the Tazmaniac (Peter Senerchia) for the NWA ECW Tag Team Titles on the March 8 (taped March 6) "ECW Hardcore TV" and would ultimately hold the NWA ECW/ECW World Tag Team Titles five times setting a record that would last until the Dudley Boys (Bubba Ray (Mark LoMonaco) and D-Von (Devon Hughes)) broke it in 1999. The Public Enemy would go on to WCW in 1996 where they would hold the WCW World Tag Team Titles for 8 days, from September 23, 1996 to October 1, 1996. They returned to ECW in January 1999 and the Dudleys ran them out soon after. They would ultimately be in and out of ECW, WWE and WCW by the middle of August 1999. They held the NWA World Tag Team Titles for two days in 1999. They competed for 'Hulk Hogan' and Jimmy Hart's short-lived XWF promotion in 2001. Petty died on September 21, 2002 en route to a 3PW (Pro-Pain Pro Wrestling) event where he was scheduled to wrestle Gary Wolf for the 3PW Heavyweight Title. Show less «
