In 1997 Shane Costa was a U.S. Navy veteran that signed his first major recording contract as a rap artist with Kram Records who was backed by Robbins Entertainment or better known for the label that Run D.M.C. was on, Profile Records. 1998, after the album he was featured on made the cover of Billboard Magazine, Shane left the label and the name Big-C behind because of artistic differences. Shortly after, he teamed up with Universal Record's R& B group Vokal and renamed himself Kunsistent-C (consistency) to do a Florida tour performing before hundreds and sometimes thousands of people. He then recorded some songs under a work for hire agreement ¬¬for Johnny Wright, the manager of New Kids On The Block, Back Street Boys & NSYNC. In 1999 Kunsistent-C joined Orlando's & Central Florida's most notorious underground rap group The Clientell Family, performing all over Florida and recorded the underground classic "No More Mr. Nice Guy" which was received well in Europe, England & Germany. In 2001, after ten years of service in the U.S. Navy, Shane Costa a.k.a Kunsistent-C was called back to active duty for of 9-11. He just finished his degree in Film & Video production and took those talents to Keflavik Iceland where he was assigned as the assistant watch commander of the Anti - Terrorism/ Force protection Unit there. He learned from some of the music industry's best directors with Gil Green, Antwan Smith, and Edwin Decena. Once Shane gained his knowledge behind the camera and decided to combine that with performing experience in the music industry in front of the camera, he knew he wanted to act. So as always, taking full advantage of the situation, Shane started appearing in the music videos he was directing for local artists, getting all the practice he could. He furthered that experience by doing extra work for movies until he got a featured extra roll in Ace Ventura 3. He then got a principal role playing Tito Guerrio in the indie movie VS. Tsunami War. Shane has a supporting role in the indie movie from Star Blaze Entertainment called "Mixtape", and just landed a speaking role for HBO's show Ballers produced Mark Wahlberg and Dwayne Johnson.Take Shane's experience behind the camera working with celebrity actors and entertainers combined with his experience performing in front of thousands of people in the music industry, and he will be a sure success in the acting community.
