Evelina Borisova was born in Sofia, Bulgaria. She graduated the High School of Performing Arts in Plovdiv and the National Academy of Theatre and Film Arts in the group of Professor Encho Halachev. Evelina Borisova was born in Sofia, Bulgaria. She graduated the High School of Performing Arts in Plovdiv and the National Academy of Theatre and Film Arts in the group of Professor Encho Halachev. Evelina made her film debut while a student in the Kamennata gora (The Stone Forest) where the director Ilya Vetchev casted her in the leading role. In 1989, she was casted by the famous Jerzy Kawalerowicz in his Jeniec Europy. That year, Evelina shot three more movies: 9- cifra na kobrata (9 - the Cobra Number), director Christo Christov; Velikolepnata chetvorka (The Magnificent Four) and Legenda za zlatnata reka (Legend of the Golden River) directed by Dimitar Sharkov. Next year she was casted in the Lyuben Morchev's TV drama Nosht bez teb (A Night without You) while Zunka Yankova takes Evelina up in her Asansyorat (The Elevator). 1991 was a true movie marathon for Evelina: Borislav Sharaliev casts her as Lily in his movie Plyontek, Eduard Zachariev trusts her with the leading role in Reserwat (The Reserve) and Margarita Valkova casts her in another leading role in her movie Bina. In 1995, Evelina shoots Kogato gram udary (When Thunder Rolls), director Docho Bodzhakov. Director Vladislav Ikonomov, known as "the master of nuance and shades in intelligent moviemaking" trusts Evelina with the leading role of Mrs. Sobol in his movie Prosty nam (Forgive us). Stefan Danailov and Stefan Mavrodiev are among her favorite screen partners. In the following 2004 Vladislav Ikonomov casts Evelina in another leading role in Kapan (The Trap).In 2008, Evelina starred in Poslednoto patuvane (The Last Voyage) directed by Vasil Barkov. Her on-screen partner Vasil Mihailov received the award for a male actor in a leading role in Ukraine.In 2011, Evelina co-starred in the Seven Hours Difference TV series on bTV. The series had huge success and a total of three seasons of 76 episodes. In 2016, the actress joined the second season of the Liaisons TV series on Fox Life.
