Elizabeth Ziman has released three full length albums (two for Verve) and a self-produced, recorded and released EP. 2009's Taller Children was produced by Mike Mogis (Bright Eyes) and featured collaborations with Tilly and the Wall. As Elizabeth & the Catapult, she released The Other Side of Zero, produced by Tony Berg (Aimee Mann) and featuring Gillian Welch and Dave Rawlings. Her album, The Other Side of Zero drew interest from Anne Hathaway, who used the album's track "Thank You for Nothing" as inspiration for her hair-cutting scene in Les Miserables. Hathaway later cast Elizabeth as a street musician in a film about New York musicians, Song One. She recently opened for Sara Bareilles at Madison Square Garden, toured with Greg Laswell, and with Kishi Bashi. She has sung backgrounds for The Shins and The Waterboys and has written this year with Ben Folds. She has scored over a dozen films with writing partner Paul Brill. Her songwriting title is Elizabeth and the Catapult.elizabethandthecatapult.com facebook.com/elizabethandthecatapult Show less «
