Charlie began acting in high school and performed in several revue shows under the direction of Mary K. "Sissy" DePrima.After graduating from the University of Notre Dame, Charlie moved to Los Angeles and worked as a Production Coordinator on DreamWorks SKG's first animated feature, The Prince of Egypt. He continued working as a digital artist at DreamWorks and began studying scene work with Harry Mastrogeorge and long-form improvisation at iOWest (formerly ImprovOlympic West).Over the next several years Charlie's credits included independent features, short films, commercials, and theater productions. He performed long-form improv at iOWest, wrote and performed sketch comedy with Geek Messiah and was a member of Imagination Workshop (UCLA NPI) facilitating improvisational workshops in schools and hospitals throughout Southern California.Since moving to Dublin, Ireland, Charlie's screen credits include feature films Miss Conception (with Heather Graham), Batman Begins and The Honeymooners. His television work includes roles as "Dominick Shaw" on The Clinic (RTÉ) and most recently as "Lars" on Into The Badlands. Short film credits include the 35mm Ancient Irish myth, The Formorian, and dark comedy, The Draft, directed by Gary Shore (Dracula Untold).Charlie's Irish theatre credits include the World Premiere of A Cry From Heaven at The Abbey Theatre (directed by Olivier Py), Woyzeck, (directed by Matt Torney) which was nominated for Spirit of the Fringe Award and AboutFACE's The Laramie Project (directed by Paul Brennan) which was part of the inaugural season of the Dublin Gay Theatre Festival.Charlie's voice work includes several RTÉ Radio Dramas, improvised podcast The Expertologists, and the animated short Eat The Danger which screened at the Annecy Film Festival.Charlie is a Company Member of AboutFACE Ireland Theatre Company in Dublin, Ireland.
