Her short films have won awards and screened at many festivals, including Toronto, Palm Springs, Atlanta, Victoria, Maryland, New York's Gen Art series and have earned Ali a Best Actress nomination at the Method Festival.Ali's stage plays and screenplays have been optioned as well as selected as a Chesterfield Writer's Project semi-finalist, a Screencraft Competition semi-finalist, and an IFP Filmmakers Program finalist.Ali is an on air radio and podcast host and was a popular personality on the cult Los Angeles station Indie 103.1 FM, as well as Sirius, Little Radio, Vlaze TV and Music Plus TV and many online outlets.
