SamuelLfanboy AnonymousTo the commenter mattorino if he's reading this, no their only weakness isn't a shotgun its everygun, the reason the military couldn't kill them is because they don't know the weakness which the family learns is a large amount of sound because the monsters have superhearing. When they hear loud frequencies their armor reveals themselves2020-11-29 16:11lekevia Anonymousthis is a wonderful movie who didn't liked it f**k off2019-10-30 23:10lermatt Anonymousummm.... this is a great movie. if you didnt read the newspapers you wouldn't know that they came here on a meteorite that hit mexico with the force of a nuclear bomb. pay attention. read the news papers they tell you just about everything2019-03-31 04:03perfectblack___ #1 Movies Online userdumb movie.. 2 out of 52019-03-18 03:03Meatshield76 AnonymousCrapped myself.... Cool movie2019-03-10 15:03LunaLustrix AnonymousThis movie is exceptional, it adds on a completely new sub-genre to horror. Though, people don't seem to understand the anatomy of the aliens, and trash the movie before it is explained. The aliens can't just be killed by shotgun, they have to open their armor on their face, which is opened by their weakness for high frequency sounds. This is why the military could not kill them. Overall, A Quiet Place is a wonderful movie, driven by a familial story line. "Who are we, if we can't protect them?" I don't think a sequel would be fitting for this movie, but I think a prequel would be great.2019-02-10 00:02mattorino #1 Movies Online userThis movie made no sense ! The creatures can't be killed except by a shotgun ! The biology of the creatures made no sense ! How did it move in the woods, the house by listening ? Dumb. The military couldn't kill them ? Critic Reviews of "A Quiet Place"
Globe and MailApril 06, 2018You're so tense you're almost nauseous, but it's fun - that's the place this smart new thriller will put you in.
Detroit NewsApril 06, 2018"A Quiet Place" is a bold experiment in fear with a triumphant payoff. It will chill you to the bone, and the quieter it gets, the more noise it makes.
Time OutApril 06, 2018Like Aliens retooled as a militant librarian's fantasy, John Krasinski's relentless shocker thrives on a nifty premise.
Chicago Sun-TimesApril 05, 2018This is the kind of film that delivers on about 75 percent of its promise and has you looking forward to the time when the director hits something all the way out of the park.
Wall Street JournalApril 05, 2018It may not make the masterpiece cut, but this taut horror thriller is enormously entertaining, because it's organized around a terrific idea-the necessity of absolute silence.
NPRApril 05, 2018Krasinski lands on a loud-quiet-loud formula akin to '90s alternative rock: When the chorus kicks in, the jump-scares really pop.
Chesapeake Family MagazineApril 06, 2018The key to the tightly paced, compellingly acted horror film A Quiet Place is the unceasing tension, a kind of persistent creepiness that burrows under your skin.
Flixist.comApril 06, 2018For the entire night after I saw A Quiet Place I thought every sound was too loud.
Arkansas Democrat-GazetteApril 06, 2018Despite not bleeding us all the way out, it's still a genuinely eerie experience.
Tri-City HeraldApril 06, 2018Best horror movie in a couple of decades. Some scenes are so terrifying and intense that you'll find yourself unable to breath. In the end you'll need your own quiet place.
Screen It!April 06, 2018A gripping, edge of your seat thriller that's tight and effective in generating the scares by manipulating those old reptilian parts of our brains we still carry around with us. (Full Content Parental Review - Violence, Scares, etc. - also Available)
Midwest Film JournalApril 06, 2018A tension machine with a tender mien. If all you care about is creature design, imagine all of your sharp-edged anxieties given teeth, pincers and an abnormal sense for finding you no matter how well you hide. Scary enough for you? It should be.
